This exhaust is a magic wand! It will transform your 997 Phase 2 from a virtually silent car to one of the most beautiful sounds of any Porsche in history. It took us around twenty prototypes to achieve this result, which is now patented. The exhaust replaces the rear center muffler and connects to the mufflers in the fenders. With the valves closed, you'll have a noticeable sound without it ever being intrusive, and with the valves open, the sound is both full and powerful. This model is only for the 997-2 with the 3.6L engine; the valves are operated by a switch. Unlike the original valved exhaust, our system has no cutoff between 45 and 75 km/h. Combined with our 200cc sport catalytic converters, it delivers a sound close to that of a race car. All accessories are included (wiring and air intake). Read the comments from Porsche owners who already have this feature; it will give you some additional insights. Installing the original switch on the central control panel is possible; contact us for details.
We also have the following valved exhausts in our range:

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are identical to the original part.
This exhaust system replaces the rear transverse muffler. Installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, is 8 hours. Removal of the rear bumper is necessary, and the use of a lift is essential. The original valves must be removed, and a blanking plate supplied with our exhaust system must be welded on. Ensure the installer has stainless steel welding capabilities. Similarly, for connecting to the tailpipes, the original muffler pipes must be cut. This installation is complex and should be performed by a professional Porsche specialist, ideally one of our recommended garages.
To ensure the best possible installation of all our exhaust systems, we include a mounting kit in the price of this exhaust. This kit includes clamps, gaskets, stainless steel screws, stainless steel lock nuts, and high-temperature copper grease. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and inside the sleeves. The connecting sleeves between our exhaust and the rear mufflers are not included, as they are reusable in 90% of cases.
