200cc Sport Manifolds / Catalysts for Porsche 997 Phase 2

Transform the driving experience of your Porsche 997 Phase 2 , including GTS models, with our 200cc sports manifolds/catalysts.

Revolutionary Performance and Sound

Designed to effectively replace multiple stock catalysts with a unified, cylinder bank-optimized solution, our system significantly improves gas flow and engine efficiency.

Unleash the true sonic potential of your 997! Often considered too discreet, your Porsche will reveal a sporty and deep sound. Combined with our valve exhaust system (available separately), you will enjoy a contained and pleasant sound in closed mode, and a powerful, racing-like symphony in open mode during acceleration. A memorable sound improvement.

Simplified and Complete Installation

  • Direct fit: Our manifolds/catalysts fit perfectly in place of the original part, without any modification. Their interfaces comply with OEM specifications.
  • Mounting kit included: For easy installation, each order comes with a complete kit including gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
  • Installation instructions: Allow approximately 3 hours for installation by a professional (lift required). It is recommended to plan for replacement of the Lambda sensors if the original ones prove difficult to recover.

Additional Option

A standard 400cc catalyzed version is also available on request (Part Number: SCA 997-2 1 1).

Don't hesitate to consult the feedback from our equipped Porsche customers for a detailed overview of the benefits of this improvement!

Detailed description

These 200cc sports manifolds/catalysts fit:

> All 997 phase 2 including GTS

The operating principle of a catalyst is to reach high temperatures so that the exhaust "ovens" and can trigger the catalyst process to "clean" the exhaust gases before they return to the atmosphere. Since the 987 phase 1 and this 997 phase 2, the catalysts have been moved up in the exhaust line to have hotter air. The manifolds and catalysts are now only one piece per bank of 3 cylinders. So a pair per car. Originally on these 997 phase 2, there are 2 catalysts per side. Our version allows both to harmonize the sequencing of the flow by the collectors and to optimize the efficiency by the catalysts. One of the consequences is an improvement in sound for this car which will remain in the history of Porsche as the least noisy. And it's a shame because it has a fabulous sound. If these manifolds / catalysts are mounted with our valve system. You'll get a beautiful sound in the closed position that will be compatible with all driving situations. And in open mode, you'll have a new car with a sound bordering on racing when accelerating. One of the most beautiful of all Porsches with air engines, but that's subjective! Read below what equipped Porsche enthusiasts have to say about it, it will give you a few more insights.

We also have in our range:
> A standard catalyzed version at 400cc - (Reference: SCA 997-2 1 1) on request

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be fitted in place of the original part without any modification.

These catalysts are mounted under the car between the engine and the transverse muffler. To remove the original catalysts, it is recommended to disconnect the 2 Lambda sensors at the sockets and remove these sensors once the catalyst manifolds have been removed.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 3 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if it is not.

Using a lifting platform is essential. Recovering the original lambda sensors is not always easy; plan to replace them or be able to purchase new ones if necessary.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.

To ensure that all our manifolds/catalysts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
