100cc Sport Catalytic Converter Pre-Muffler for Porsche 911 (2.7L, 3.0L, 3.2L)

Transform the driving experience of your Porsche 911 2.7L, 3.0L or 3.2L with our sport pre-muffler. The centerpiece of the exhaust system, it is designed to correct the flaws of the original part by optimizing gas flow and unleashing your engine's rated power.

This sport version is equipped with a 100cc sport catalyst , ensuring exceptional gas flow. Benefit from a 20 to 25% sportier sound and a measured gain of 12hp on the power bench compared to an original catalyst.

Installation is Plug & Play : our pre-mufflers use the original interfaces and dimensions, allowing direct installation between the collectors and the muffler, without any modification. The average installation time is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

For optimal assembly, a complete kit is included : gaskets, stainless steel screws, stainless steel lock nuts and high temperature copper grease.

Detailed description

This pre-muffler fits on:

> 911 2.7L
> 911 3.0L
> 911 3.2L

The pre-muffler is the most technical part of the exhaust line for these cars. Our 5 pre-mufflers correct the defects of the original part, namely essentially the pressure loss due to the flow which disrupts the back pressure. Our exhausts allow the engine to release its nominal power thanks to linear compression of the exhaust gases.

This sport version is equipped with a 100cc sport catalyst, this pre-muffler allows for better gas flow. It has a noise level 20 to 25% higher than the original. The gain measured on the power bench is 12hp compared to an original catalyst.

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be fitted in place of the original part without any modification.

This pre-muffler is mounted between the collectors and the muffler.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 1.5 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if the opposite is true.

The use of a lifting bridge is preferable but not essential.

Removing the stock exhaust can be tedious and requires specific tools, such as a micro grinder to remove the pre-muffler inlet nuts. For easier disassembly, we recommend removing the wheel and the left rear shock absorber.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually over all the nuts. Ensure that the muffler is securely in place before tightening it completely.

To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
