Sport catalytic converter (200 cells) - Porsche 911 (993 Turbo)
Sport catalytic converter (200 cells) - Porsche 911 (993 Turbo)
Couldn't load pickup availability
Fits: all Porsche 993 Turbo.
This version is fitted with 200-cell HJS sport metallic catalytic converters, instead of the original 400-cell units: they replace the original converters with better flow and more sound, with an expected gain of 10 hp on a stock 993 Turbo.
Fitting
- Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
- Mount under the car, between the turbos and the mufflers in the wings
- Before removal, unplug the Lambda sensors at the connectors and remove them once the converters are off. Reusing them is not straightforward: be ready to replace them
- Take the time to adjust the converters and the heating connections welded to them before tightening, progressively
- Average fitting time: 4 hours including removal
- A lift is essential
- Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease
Also in our range for the 993 Turbo
- Standard 400-cell catalytic version - Reference: SCA 993T 2 1

These 100cc HJS sports catalysts fit:
> All 993 Turbos
This version is equipped with 100cc HJS metallic sport catalysts, instead of the original 400cc. They therefore allow the replacement of the original catalysts, providing better flow and more sound. The expected power gain is 10hp on a stock 993 Turbo.
We also have in our range:
> A standard catalyzed version at 400cc - (Reference: SCA 993T 2 1)
Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be fitted in place of the original part without any modification.
These catalysts are mounted under the car between the turbos and the mufflers located in the wings. To remove the original catalysts, it is recommended to disconnect the lambda sensors at the sockets and remove them once the catalysts have been removed. It is important to take the time to adjust the catalysts as well as the heater connections welded to them before gradually tightening them.
The average installation time, including removal of the stock exhaust, for this exhaust is 4.0 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but may be longer if it is not.
Using a lift is essential. Recovering the original Lambda sensors is not easy; plan to replace them or be able to purchase new ones if necessary.
To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
