On the 993 Turbo, the muffler produces 70% of the sound level (the remaining 30% comes from the catalytic converters). This valve version delivers either a discreet or a sporty sound, switch-operated on this reference (remote version: SCA 993T 3 2 VT). Combined with sport catalytic converters, the sound takes on an incredible dimension with the valves open.
Fitting
- Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement of the original part
- Mount directly after the catalytic converters
- Average fitting time: 8 hours including removal and the air and electrical harnesses. No need to remove the rear bumper
- A lift is essential: the mufflers come out from underneath
- Tighten all nuts progressively
- If your original mufflers are Gillet-style, get 2 olive gaskets and 2 Bischoff muffler clamps from Porsche
- Fitting kit included: stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease

On the 993 Turbo, the muffler provides 70% of the sound level (the remaining 30% being in the catalysts). This valve version allows you to obtain either a discreet sound or a sporty sound. The action of the valve is controlled either by a switch for this reference. For the remote control (Reference: SCA 993T 3 2 VT), go back one click and select the last mufflers in the line. Coupled with sport catalysts, the sound takes on an incredible dimension with open valves.

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part.
These mufflers are mounted directly after the catalysts.
The average installation time, including removal of the stock exhaust, for this exhaust is 8.0 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if it is not. Removal of the rear PC is not necessary. This time also includes installation of the air and electrical harnesses.
The use of a lifting platform is essential because the mufflers are removed from underneath. The nuts must always be tightened gradually over all the nuts.
To ensure the best possible installation of all our exhausts, we include in the price of this exhaust a mounting kit with stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease. If your original mufflers are Gillet style, you will need to purchase 2 olive seals and 2 Bischoff muffler mounting clamps from Porsche. We recommend putting copper grease on the screw threads and in the olive seals upstream and downstream of the mufflers.
