Central Valve Muffler for Porsche 991

Unleash the sound potential of your Porsche 991 with our valved center muffler, compatible with all 991 models. Enjoy unmatched flexibility: a powerful and sporty sound with the valves open, and a sound close to the original with the valves closed.

Designed for direct mounting after the catalysts, this muffler respects the original interfaces and offers an adjustable side for a perfect fit. Installation (approximately 8 hours, requiring the removal of the rear bumper and giving access to the air filters) is the ideal opportunity to replace them with a sport version.

For easy and durable assembly, a complete kit is included : gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease and 2 straps.

⚠️ Change of outlets required for 3.4L versions ⚠️

Also available in a Sport version without valves (Reference: SCA 991 3 2).

Detailed description

This central muffler fits on:

> All 991

All the sound of the 991 is in this rear center muffler and nothing in the side mufflers. This version with valves allows to obtain both a very powerful sound in the open position and close to the original in the closed position. All our 991 mufflers have an adjustable side to be able to adjust the muffler without constraint.

We also have in our range:
> A sports version without valve - (Reference: SCA 991 3 2)

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part.

This muffler is mounted directly at the catalyst outlet.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 8.0 hours. It is necessary to remove the rear bumper. This is also where the air filters are located. Therefore, we recommend changing them to a sports version at this time.

Using a lift is preferable but not essential. Removing the original exhaust is fairly easy. Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually on all the nuts. Then the clamp last.

To ensure the best possible assembly of all our exhausts, we include in the price a mounting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease as well as the 2 straps. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and the joint faces during assembly.
