Valved exhaust - Porsche 991-2 PSE

This is not just an exhaust; it's a new way of experiencing sound. Designed specifically for 991.2 owners with the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) option who find the stock system too restrictive, this system finally unleashes the full potential of your engine.

To design this system, we started from the beginning to understand its limitations:

• The Original "Problem": The original part has two inlets on each side. In "valves closed" mode, the gases are forced to pass through a duct of barely 38 mm which leads to a tube... that is blocked! The gases must then make their way through a perforated metal plate.

• The Role of Original Valves: On the PSE, the valves serve less to generate a sound than to offer an additional gas extraction capacity at high engine speed (they open, for example, at 5000 rpm when stopped).

The secret lies in a perfect mastery of diameter differences. This unique design allows us to achieve two objectives:

1. Closed Valves: You retain a civilized and discreet sound, equivalent to the original PSE in closed mode (95 dB under acceleration), without any resonance or buzzing.

2. Open Valves: The gas flow is released. You get a powerful, deep and aggressive sound (98 dB), worthy of a Flat 6.

You will of course retain the use of your original PSE switch to switch between the two modes.
