100cc Sport Catalyst for Porsche 993 (Bischoff Type)
Boost the performance of your Porsche 993! This 100cc sports catalytic converter is specifically designed for models equipped with the original Bischoff type catalytic converter. Recognizable by its oval inlet tubes and 45° flanges, it is the most common on 993s. For the Gillet type (round tubes, 90° flanges), other options are available.
Key Benefits:
- Performance: Equipped with 100cc sports metal catalysts, it offers better flow and a notable power gain of +12hp compared to the original.
- Sound: Enjoy a sportier and more captivating sound for your 993.
- Simplified Installation: Designed for direct installation in place of the original part, without any modifications required.
- Complete Kit: Supplied with a mounting kit including gaskets, stainless steel screws, stainless steel lock nuts and high temperature copper grease for optimal installation.
The average installation time is estimated at 2 hours. The use of a lifting platform is recommended. It is advisable to plan for the replacement of the Lambda sensor for a smooth installation.
We also offer standard catalyzed (400cc) and decatalyzed bypass versions for Bischoff and Gillet types.

Detailed description
This 100cc sports catalyst can be fitted to:
> All 993s with the original Bischoff type catalyst
There are two types of catalysts originally fitted to the 993. The Bischoff type is the most common, it has oval inlet tubes and its two inlet flanges are at a 45° angle to the catalyst. The other type, the Gillet, has round inlet tubes and the two inlet flanges are at a 90° angle to the catalyst.
This exhaust is equipped with 100cc metal sports catalysts. It allows you to replace the catalyst, providing better flow and a sportier sound. The power gain is 12hp compared to a stock 993.
We also have in our range for Bischoff type catalysts:
> A standard catalyzed version at 400cc - (Reference: SCA 993 2 1 B)
> A decatalytic bypass version - (Reference: SCA 993 2 3 B)
We also have all these variants for the original Gillet catalysts.
Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be fitted in place of the original part without any modification.
The catalyst is mounted under the car between the manifolds and the mufflers in the rear fenders. To remove the original catalyst, it is advisable to disconnect the Lambda sensor located in the center of the catalyst, as it is easily accessible. The 3 screws on each side of the inlet flanges are often difficult to remove, so plan to loosen them in advance. Using a lift is essential. Since the recovery of the original Lambda sensor is never guaranteed, plan to replace them or be able to buy a new one if necessary.
The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 2 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if the opposite is the case.
Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.
To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
