Fits: all Porsche 964.
This Cup system replaces, in a single unit, the rear transverse muffler, the final muffler in the right rear wing and the tailpipe. Over the long run it is the best solution: the Cup pipe + swan neck setup is too loud, and once either part needs replacing, a global solution is needed anyway. The 4 Cup system versions cover the whole spectrum, with one or two outlets.
Sound: sport version with twin outlets. Twin-outlet versions are louder than their single-outlet counterparts.
Fitting
- Mounts directly after the catalytic converter, original or our sport version (+17 hp)
- Twin outlets: the right rear bumper must be adapted to clear the second outlet
- Average fitting time: 2 hours including removal of the original exhaust (removal is fairly easy). Lift essential
- Tighten all nuts progressively to the manufacturer's torque: an under-tightened exhaust leaks, and so does an over-tightened one
- Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts and lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease and the 2 Scart straps. Keep the olive gasket and its clamp at the converter outlet: brush them clean before refitting

This exhaust fits on:

This exhaust for 964 replaces in a single block the rear transverse muffler and the terminal muffler which is located in the right rear wing as well as the exit. In the long term it is the best solution. Because the Cup tube and Swan Neck assembly is too noisy. And if you are equipped with one or the other, when the second one has to be replaced, it is necessary to find a global solution. The 4 versions of Cup system offer the whole range to obtain a sporty or more dynamic sound with one or two exits. This version has two exits, it is necessary to adapt the right rear bumper to allow the second exit to pass. The double exit versions are louder than their single exit counterparts.

This muffler is mounted directly after the catalyst, whether it is the original one or our sport version (+17hp).
The average installation time, including removal of the stock exhaust, for this exhaust is 2.0 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but may be longer if it is not.
Using a lift is essential. Removing the original exhaust is fairly easy.
Follow the manufacturer's tightening torques. An exhaust that is not tightened enough can cause air leaks. An exhaust that is too tight can also cause air leaks. Nuts should always be tightened gradually across all nuts.
To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease as well as the 2 SCART straps. Except for the olive seal and its collar at the catalyst outlet, which should be kept and brushed before refitting. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and the joint faces during assembly.
