Ce silencieux à trois sorties a une double sonorité : son design est issu du silencieux RSR de l'époque des courses des années 70, l'ancêtre des échappements à valves d'aujourd'hui.

Position route : les deux bouchons des sorties arrière en place, la sortie de gauche libre - sonorité sport mais discrète (5/10)
Position compétition : les 2 bouchons arrière retirés, la sortie de gauche bouchée - sonorité racing

Dans cette version style 3,0L RSR, les sorties arrière sont courtes et parfaitement alignées sous les pare-chocs. Les sangles sont incluses.

Montage

Interfaces strictement d'origine (entrées, sorties, encombrement) : montage en lieu et place de la pièce d'origine, sans aucune modification
Se monte sous la voiture, directement sur les collecteurs ; le montage est assez facile
Temps de pose moyen : 1h, dépose de l'échappement d'origine comprise (plus long si les vis sont corrodées). Pont élévateur pas indispensable mais largement préférable
Serrage progressif de l'ensemble des écrous
Kit de montage inclus : joints, vis inox, écrous tout inox, graisse cuivrée haute température

What does it sound like?

Depending on the model, you get either a Sport signature (raw but civilized) or Super Sound Type Riva / Ultima (deep, sporty and noble under acceleration, discreet at stabilized speeds, no resonance). For valve models, two worlds in one: discreet with valves closed, roaring with valves open.

Wow! That sums it up. From the fit, quality of the materials, the inclusion of all of the parts needed for installation to the bespoke "SCART 911" straps. That was great but the sound, the sound is perfect. I am so glad I bought this for my car (69 911T 2.0 litre)

I ordered my silencer from a forum host and it was received with some shipping damage so I sent it back. I received an email from Martin immediately stating he would get another one to me before I was to leave for Rennsport VI. I got another one and installed it two days before I left on my 6600 mile trip to Monterey and back. I couldn't be happier with the muffler and the personal service from Martin was greatly appreciated. When I arrived at Rennsprt VI I met Martin and we had a quick chat to thank him and I got a new coffee mug too. Fantastic sounding muffler especially in the California canyons just south and west of Half Dome and 5.5K RPM, WOW. A big thanks again to Martin. Read more
