High Performance Racing Manifolds for Porsche 911
Transform the driving experience of your Porsche 911 with our Racing manifolds, designed to maximize performance and sound. A must-have choice for discerning enthusiasts!
Extended Compatibility
- Perfectly suited to Porsche 911s from 1963 to 1973 .
- Fits 1974 to 1989 models, if fitted with a 2-inlet muffler.
- Can be installed on G-types (requires slight modification of the oil pipes for direct connection to the muffler).
Advanced Racing Design
These headers are our flagship Racing version, made with 1mm thick tubes seamlessly pressed together for increased durability and performance. This specific version is short, ideal for direct connection to megaphones or an RSR muffler.
We also offer other unheated spaghetti collectors, available in different configurations to precisely adapt to your needs:
- Short Racing versions: 38.5mm and 42mm
- Long Racing versions: 38.5mm, 42mm and 45mm
Simplified Installation
Our manifolds scrupulously respect the original interfaces , allowing direct and modification-free installation between the engine and the muffler. Installation time is estimated at 3 hours (a lifting bridge is essential), although corrosion of existing manifolds may affect the duration.
Important note: Short headers require 'S' connectors to connect to the stock mufflers. For direct compatibility with your stock muffler without megaphones or RSR mufflers, we recommend opting for our long versions.
Complete Mounting Kit Included
For a smooth and worry-free installation, a complete mounting kit is included with every order: gaskets, tube nuts, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts, and high-temperature copper grease. Everything is included so you can quickly enjoy your new performance!
Detailed description
Detailed description
These Racing manifolds fit:
> All 911s from 1963 to 1973
> And from 1974 to 1989 if they are fitted with a 2-inlet muffler.
But they can also be mounted on G-types, connecting directly to the muffler. In this case, it is necessary to modify the oil pipes.
These headers correspond to our racing version in 1mm thickness with seamless press-fit tubes. This version is the short one to be connected to megaphones or the RSR muffler.
We are also currently preparing other collectors (spaghetti without heating):
> A short Racing version in 38.5mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 RSR-42)
> A short Racing version in 42mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 RSR-45)
> A long Racing version in 38.5mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-38)
> A long Racing version in 42mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-42)
> A long Racing version in 45mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-45)
These manifolds are mounted between the engine and the muffler. The installation is not difficult except that due to the corrosion of the existing manifolds, it is impossible to know the installation time required. Let's say that if the disassembly is done without problem (which never happens if the existing manifolds are original), the installation time is 3 hours. The use of a lifting platform is essential.
Our manifolds have the original interfaces, that is to say that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original parts. They are therefore mounted in place of the original manifolds without any modification. Attention: to connect the short manifolds to the original muffler, it is necessary to add connecting S-pieces. If you do not want to connect megaphones or an RSR type muffler, then you must take long manifolds whose interfaces correspond to the original manifolds for production cars.
Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.
To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, tube nuts, stainless steel screws, all stainless steel lock nuts and high temperature copper grease.
