Direct Bypass Catalyst for Porsche 964

Designed for all Porsche 964s , this bypass catalyst (direct tube without muffler) replaces the original element.

Optimize throttle flow and give your 964 a significantly improved sound . Expect up to 12hp more power over a stock model. Although very freer, the flow slightly reduces back pressure compared to our 100cc sport version.

Its installation is simple and straightforward , with no modifications required thanks to its original interfaces. It mounts easily to the rear left of your vehicle. A complete mounting kit (gaskets, stainless steel screws, stainless steel lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease) is included to facilitate the operation.

Detailed description

This bypass catalyst is mounted on:

> All 964

This version is not equipped with a catalyst, it is a direct tube without muffler (bypass). It therefore allows to replace the original catalyst by providing a better flow and significantly more sound. The power gain is 12hp on a stock 964. The gain is 5hp lower compared to our 100cc sport catalyst because the flow being very free, the back pressure decreases.

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be fitted in place of the original part without any modification.

This catalyst is mounted at the rear left between the manifolds and the rear transverse muffler.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 1.5 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if the opposite is true.

Using a lift is not essential; in this case, you will need to remove the left rear wheel. Recovering the original Lambda sensor is not easy; plan to replace it or be able to purchase one if necessary.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.

To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
