These mufflers fit on:
> All 993
This exhaust is our latest version for the 993. Its sound allows for a decorrelation between the noise level and the engine speed. It is compatible with the installation of a sports catalyst. This RIVA version has three characteristics:
> A rant at the start
> A very smooth stabilized regime at cruising speed
> Variations in dynamic regimes.
We also have the following mufflers in our range:
> A sports version - (Reference: SCA 993 3 2)
> A valve version - (Reference: SCA 993 3 2 VI or VT)
Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part.
These mufflers are mounted directly after the catalysts.
The average installation time, including removal of the stock exhaust, for this exhaust is 2.0 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but may be longer if it is not. Removal of the rear PC is not necessary.
The use of a lifting platform is essential because the mufflers are removed from underneath. The nuts must always be tightened gradually over all the nuts.
To ensure the best possible installation of all our exhausts, we include in the price of this exhaust a mounting kit with stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease. If your original mufflers are Gillet style, you will need to purchase 2 olive seals and 2 Bischoff muffler mounting clamps from Porsche. We recommend putting copper grease on the screw threads and in the olive seals upstream and downstream of the mufflers.
