On the 991, most of the sound lives in the rear centre muffler - which is why our valveless sport version is so convincing: it is our personal favourite, as an alternative to the valve version. A meaningful, sporty sound through rev changes, discreet and comfortable at cruising speed. The muffler body is adjustable, for a perfect fit during installation.

Fitting

  • Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
  • Average fitting time: around 6 hours including removal. The rear bumper must come off - it gives access to the air filters: a good opportunity to switch them to sport versions
  • A lift is preferable but not essential; tighten the nuts progressively

Silencieux Sport "Coup de Cœur" (Sans Valves) pour Porsche 991

Sur la Porsche 991, l'essentiel de la sonorité se trouve dans le silencieux central arrière. C'est pourquoi notre version Sport sans valves est si convaincante et représente notre "coup de cœur" comme alternative à la version à valves.

Installation & Caractéristiques

Montage "Plug & Play" : Le silencieux respecte toutes les interfaces d'origine (entrées, sorties, encombrement) et se monte en lieu et place de l'ancienne pièce, sans aucune modification.

Temps de pose moyen : Environ 6 heures, incluant la dépose de l'origine. Le démontage du pare-chocs arrière est nécessaire.

Conseil d'optimisation : Le démontage du pare-chocs donnant accès aux filtres à air, nous conseillons d'en profiter pour les remplacer par des versions sport.

Équipement requis : Un pont élévateur est préférable pour plus de confort, mais n'est pas indispensable. Le serrage des écrous doit se faire progressivement

I was torn between an exhaust with or without valves, so I called beforehand and opted for the version without valves (assuming, among other things, that they would be open all the time anyway :)). I fitted the exhaust easily and after 500 km I have no regrets, the compromise is just perfect. At a steady speed it's relatively discreet, and under acceleration / deceleration it's... a treat! Experience makes the difference, and when I had a question during installation, one phone call and I had the answer I needed in 2 minutes. A handmade all-stainless-steel jewel case, for a stunning sound result on a 991! Absolutely no relation to the sport exhaust offered as an option by Porsche. We are in another world, that of the racetrack: at low revs, in the rush upward or on the way down through the revs! I kept in mind my 2 Carlsson and Brabus lines on two V8s (AMG) and never thought I would one day find MY NEW SOUND REFERENCE on a Flat Six. Practical too, the very discreet switch on the steering wheel, which lets you get back to a "stock" sound level, just a bit more metallic.
