Stéphane the 5th of January 2015 I just received my exhaust this morning, my mechanic and I have spent the afternoon working on it, removing the intermediate silencers and replacing them with 2 pipes and fitting the 2 silencers with valves a few electrical connections and air pressure nothing too difficult the line fits perfectly into the space left by the original mind out though at the initial turn of the key with the valves closed and the V8's engine cold the starter mode will make the walls tremble and then after 20 seconds it'll calm down. Driving with the valves closed just a nice sound with the windows down. Windows closed cruising you can't hear a thing perfect! In valve open mode when you really put your foot down hard that's really something my V8 just lets rip impossible not to turn heads even a deaf person would feel that engine growl I've only one thing to say: thank you MR MARTIN SCART Read more

Yet another testimonial attesting to the responsiveness, the passion for the Porsche brand and the "singing". A big thank you to the whole team of the SCART music conservatory. Even when the student is a Panamera Diesel (V6 300), it is accepted and discovers a real voice after only a few hours. It is astonishing! Porsche has already worked hard to mask the noise of its diesels, but here, we move upmarket. Without having the vocalizations or the predispositions of a Panamera GTS or of a 997 trained by the same conservatory, it remains faithful to its philosophy: a very comfortable tourer, well soundproofed and quiet at constant speed... but there is a big plus: the car becomes very playful. The manual mode is then no longer a diesel gimmick at all. Ignition on: the sound is duller. Moving at very low speeds, you catch yourself looking for the exact rev range where the sound becomes much more present and much more raspy. Pedestrians then hear the sound of a powerful, large-displacement engine and yet... On the road, or on the motorway, the soundproofing still does its job, but this raspy sound remains audible with every press of the accelerator pedal. Finally, how does the unexpected toy hold up crossing a tunnel? If you open the window(s), this time it is the driver and passengers who get an earful, a wonderful song that will delight or worry all the other users of the tunnel. Read more
