On these cars, the muffler produces 80% of the sound level (the remaining 20% comes from the pre-muffler); we offer 3 different mufflers to satisfy every requirement.
This version keeps the traditional 911 muffler shape: we call it the banana, the English speakers call it sausage or hot dog! Its Riva-type sound brings volume and depth to the flat-six: it is the best we make for this 911. This exhaust reveals the depths of the Porsche engine - every kilometre will be a new discovery. Fitting
- Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions). The muffler sits a few centimetres further back in the rear bumper for better cooling; it is mounted on its own bracket, supplied, which replaces the original one
- Mounts directly after the pre-muffler
- Average fitting time: 1 hour including removal of the original exhaust. A lift is preferable but not essential
- Removing the original is fairly easy; if the 3 inlet flange nuts are rusted, a grinder may be needed
- Respect the manufacturer's torque, tightening all nuts progressively
- Fitting kit and 2 straps included: gaskets, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease

This muffler fits the 911 G-type:

On these cars, the muffler provides 80% of the sound level (the remaining 20% is in the pre-muffler). We have 3 different mufflers for these cars to meet all requirements.
This sport version has the traditional shape of 911 mufflers. We call it banana, the Anglo-Saxons sausage or hot dog! Its RIVA-like sound brings volume and depth to the flat 6. It corresponds to what we do best for this 911. This exhaust reveals the depths of the Porsche engine. Each mile traveled will be a new discovery and a new pleasure. Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning their inlets, outlets, and dimensions are consistent with the original part. The muffler location is moved back a few centimeters in the rear bumper for better cooling. Our muffler is positioned on its own bracket supplied with the exhaust. This bracket replaces the original one.
This muffler is mounted directly after the pre-muffler.
The average installation time, including removal of the stock exhaust, for this exhaust is 1.0 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but may be longer if it is not.
The use of a lifting bridge is preferable but not essential.
Removing the stock exhaust is fairly easy. If the three nuts on the inlet flange are rusty, you may need to use a grinder.
Follow the manufacturer's tightening torques. An exhaust that is not tightened enough can cause air leaks. An exhaust that is too tight can also cause air leaks. Nuts should always be tightened gradually across all nuts.
To ensure the best possible assembly of all our exhausts, we include in the price of this exhaust a mounting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease as well as the 2 SCART straps. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and the joint faces during assembly.
