Fits: all Porsche 968.
On the 968, the muffler produces 80% of the sound level (the remaining 20% comes from the catalytic converter). This stainless steel version gives your 968 a sporty sound, and it is compatible with a sport catalytic converter which will add 20% more sound plus a handful of horsepower. The tailpipe, separate on the original, is included. On request we also build a version closer to stock, or a more radical one.
Fitting
- Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement of the original part
- Mounts directly after the catalytic converter; removing the original is fairly easy
- Average fitting time: 1.5 hours including removal
- A lift is essential
- Tighten all nuts progressively
- Fitting kit included: hangers, stainless bolts, stainless lock nuts, high-temperature copper grease

This muffler fits on:

On these cars, the muffler provides 80% of the sound level (the remaining 20% being in the catalyst). This stainless steel version gives a sporty sound to your 968. It is compatible with a sport catalyst which will add 20% more sound with a handful of horsepower. On request we can also make a version closer to the original or another more radical one. This exhaust includes the exit which is separated from the original.
Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part.
This muffler is mounted directly after the catalyst.
The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 1.5 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if the opposite is true.
The use of a lifting bridge is essential.
Removing the stock exhaust is fairly easy.
Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.
To ensure the best possible assembly of all our exhausts, we include in the price of this exhaust a mounting kit with hangers, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and the joint faces during assembly.
