Rear Muffler for Porsche 997 Turbo Phase 2
Designed specifically for the Porsche 997 Turbo Phase 2 , this rear muffler replaces the original center muffler. It offers a subtly enhanced sound , ideal for refining the character of your vehicle.
For a significant change in sound, installation of a complete cat-back (including sport catalysts) is recommended.
Thanks to its perfect fit (OEM Fitment) , it is mounted directly after the original catalysts, guaranteeing installation without modification.
Installation: Approximately 2 hours. A lift is required, and removing the rear bumper is preferred. Gradual tightening of the nuts is essential for optimal installation.
For easy and durable assembly, a complete kit is included : straps, seals, screws and stainless steel lock nuts, as well as high-temperature copper grease.

This rear muffler only fits on:
> 997 Turbo Phase 2
This muffler is installed as a replacement for the rear center muffler. It provides a slightly improved sound. To significantly change the sound, it is necessary to install the complete cat-back, i.e. the sports exhaust including the sports catalysts with or without valves.
Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part.
This exhaust is fitted directly after the original catalysts.
The installation time for this exhaust, including removal of the original exhaust, is 2.0 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if it is not. Removing the rear PC is preferable. The use of a lift is essential. The nuts must always be tightened gradually on all the nuts after the exhaust is fully installed.
To ensure the best possible assembly of all our exhausts, we include in the price of this exhaust a mounting kit with straps, gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and the joint faces.
