Transform the Sound of Your Porsche 997.2 3.8L!
Discover our valve exhaust, the result of around twenty prototypes and a patented design. It is specially designed for the Porsche 997 phase 2 3.8L (including GTS) not equipped with PSE, and will transform the sound of your car, taking it from almost total discretion to one of the most beautiful sounds in Porsche history.
Tailor-Made Sound, Without Compromise:
- Closed Valves: Enjoy a refined and discreet sound presence, ideal for everyday use.
- Open Valves: Unleash a full, powerful, and captivating sound, without the usual cutoff of stock systems between 45 and 75 km/h.
- Maximum Potential: Combined with our 200cc sports catalysts, it offers a sound close to that of a racing car.
- All accessories (electrical and air harnesses) are included for a complete assembly.
Compatibility and Installation:
This exhaust replaces the rear center muffler and connects to the fender mufflers. The valves are controlled via a switch (integration of the original switch is possible, please contact us).
The installation (estimated at 8 hours) is complex and requires the intervention of a professional Porsche specialist (stainless steel welding and cutting of original muffler tubes are required). A complete assembly kit (clamps, gaskets, stainless steel screws, high temperature copper grease) is provided to facilitate the operation.
Complete Range of Valve Exhausts:
Discover our other valve exhaust versions for Porsche 997 phase 2, available for 3.6L and 3.8L engines, with or without PSE, and controllable by switch or remote control. All our exhausts scrupulously respect the original interfaces and dimensions for a perfect integration.

Detailed description
This valve exhaust fits on:
> All 997 phase 2 in 3.8L including the GTS
This exhaust is the magic wand! It will allow you to take your 997 phase 2 from a virtually silent car directly to one of the most beautiful sounds of all Porsches in history. It took us about twenty prototypes to achieve this result, which has been patented. The exhaust replaces the central rear muffler and connects to the mufflers in the wings. With the valves in the closed position, you will have a sound presence without it ever being annoying and with the valves open, the sound is both ample and powerful. This reference is only for the 997-2 in 3.8L not equipped with the PSE, the action on the valves is done with a switch. Unlike the original valve exhaust, our system has no cut-off between 45 and 75 Kms/H. Coupled with our 200cc sport catalysts, it gives a sound close to a racing car. All accessories are included (wiring and air conditioning). Read the reviews from Porsche owners who already have them; they'll give you some additional lighting. It's possible to install the original switch on the central panel; contact us.
We also have the following valve exhausts in our range:
For 997 phase 2 not equipped with PSE

> A valve version for the 3.6L with remote control - (Reference: SCA 997-2 3.6L VT)
> A valve version for the 3.8L with remote control - (Reference: SCA 997-2 3.8L VT)
For 997 phase 2 equipped with PSE

> A valve version for the 3.6L PSE with remote control - (Reference: SCA 997-2 3.6L PSE VT)
> A valve version for the 3.8L PSE with switch - (Reference: SCA 997-2 3.8L PSE VI)
> A valve version for the 3.8L PSE with remote control - (Reference: SCA 997-2 3.8L PSE VT)
Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part.
This exhaust is fitted as a replacement for the rear transverse muffler. Installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, is 8.0 hours. Removal of the rear PC is required, and the use of a lift is essential. It is necessary to remove the original valves and weld a pad supplied with our exhaust. Make sure the installer has stainless steel welding skills. As with the connection to the outlets, it is necessary to cut the original muffler tubes. This installation is complex and must be carried out by a professional Porsche specialist. Ideally, one of our recommended garages.
To ensure the best possible installation of all our exhausts, we include in the price of this exhaust a mounting kit with clamps, gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease. We recommend applying copper grease to the screw threads and the sleeves. The connecting sleeves between our exhaust and the rear mufflers are not included because in 90% of cases they are reusable.
