Fits: all Porsche 911 from 1963 to 1973, and from 1974 to 1989 when fitted with a 2-inlet muffler. They can also be fitted to Type G cars by connecting directly to the muffler - the oil pipes then need modifying.

Our racing version in 1 mm thickness, with weld-free slip-fit pipes. This short version is made to connect to megaphones or the RSR muffler.

Note: to connect the short manifolds to the original muffler, S-shaped link pipes must be added. If you do not plan to fit megaphones or an RSR-type muffler, choose the long manifolds, whose interfaces match the original manifolds for a standard road car.

Fitting

  • Original interfaces: direct replacement of the original manifolds, no modification
  • Mount between the engine and the muffler. Corrosion on the existing manifolds makes removal time unpredictable: if removal goes smoothly (which never happens with original manifolds...), count 3 hours
  • A lift is essential; tighten all nuts progressively

Other spaghetti manifolds (without heating) in preparation

  • Short racing version, 38.5 mm - Reference: SCA 911A 1 RSR-42
  • Short racing version, 42 mm - Reference: SCA 911A 1 RSR-45
  • Long racing version, 38.5 mm - Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-38
  • Long racing version, 42 mm - Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-42
  • Long racing version, 45 mm - Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-45

Description détaillée

These Racing manifolds fit:

> All 911s from 1963 to 1973
> And from 1974 to 1989 if they are fitted with a 2-inlet muffler.

But they can also be mounted on G-types, connecting directly to the muffler. In this case, it is necessary to modify the oil pipes.

These headers correspond to our racing version in 1mm thickness with seamless press-fit tubes. This version is the short one to be connected to megaphones or the RSR muffler.

We are also currently preparing other collectors (spaghetti without heating):
> A short Racing version in 38.5mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 RSR-42)
> A short Racing version in 42mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 RSR-45)
> A long Racing version in 38.5mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-38)
> A long Racing version in 42mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-42)
> A long Racing version in 45mm - (Reference: SCA 911A 1 3-45)

These manifolds are mounted between the engine and the muffler. The installation is not difficult except that due to the corrosion of the existing manifolds, it is impossible to know the installation time required. Let's say that if the disassembly is done without problem (which never happens if the existing manifolds are original), the installation time is 3 hours. The use of a lifting platform is essential.

Our manifolds have the original interfaces, that is to say that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original parts. They are therefore mounted in place of the original manifolds without any modification. Attention: to connect the short manifolds to the original muffler, it is necessary to add connecting S-pieces. If you do not want to connect megaphones or an RSR type muffler, then you must take long manifolds whose interfaces correspond to the original manifolds for production cars.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.

To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, tube nuts, stainless steel screws, all stainless steel lock nuts and high temperature copper grease.
