By-pass catalytic converters - 2.7L & 3.2L - Porsche Boxster (986)

Fits: Porsche Boxster 986 2.7L and 3.2L.

This version has no catalytic converters: these are straight pipes (by-pass), replacing the original converters with better flow and a more pronounced sound.

Regulations: French regulations require the converter to be retained: this version will not pass the French roadworthiness test (contrôle technique).

Fitting

• Strictly original interfaces: direct replacement, no modification
• Mount under the car, between the manifolds and the connecting pipes to the rear muffler
• Before removal, unplug the Lambda sensors at the connectors. Reusing them is not straightforward: be ready to replace them
• A lift is essential; tighten all nuts progressively
