Met Martin Scart at Paradis Porsche and bought a few days later, the ULTIMA RECITAL silencers have given a new voice to my beautiful 997 Phase 1, which has since kept delighting me with this fantastic melody, more beautiful than the original. The 997 turbo Tiptronic is a wonderful vehicle, and the SCART valved exhaust corrects its only flaw: a sound that is too muted, which doesn't match the car's amazing performance. In open-valve mode, the sound is truly excellent, and with the valves closed, it is nevertheless very close to the original discretion. My exhaust was fitted last year, my car has just come out of a major service with technical inspection, and everything is impeccable... A good discussion between enthusiasts guided my choice towards an Ultima Recital to replace the original exhaust on my 2005 997 S. I visited with wonder the lair where the exhausts are entirely manufactured, and I can assure you this is not "made in China"! The order was placed on Monday morning and received on Wednesday, what efficiency! The detailed explanations the team gave me allowed me to fit the pair of silencers in under 2 hours with a friend. Note that replacing the clamps was mandatory given their age. Result: a real flat 6 sound, nicely raspy, muted at low revs and more metallic in the revs, not intrusive as I feared (except for fans of low revs, for whom the low frequencies can become bothersome). In the end you get the little whine that rewards you at the turn of the key, a sound that is present but discreet at idle and at a steady speed, and the real roar when you put your foot down! A sort of automatic valves, in a way, that open and close intelligently. If, as for me, the PSE was a sine qua non condition in choosing your used 997, forget it!! The solution is at Scart. My Grail, the Ultima Recital Scart, I discover a numbered piece, 4734, it's my Ultima Recital and nobody else's. I touch it, I stroke it... goldsmith's work. Handmade, made in France and of very, very fine craftsmanship. The stainless steel is beautiful and of incredible quality. You can imagine the craftsman cutting the stainless steel, bending it, welding it, you can touch the passion with your hand, you feel it, it's there in front of us. I live in Grenoble, so I naturally contacted Garage 2B in La Ravoire (38). Enthusiasts, Porsche specialists. For such a product, I need the very best, so garage 2B. After 3 hours of meticulous work (removal and fitting), finally the first turn of the key. First roar, the shivers are there, and the beast too... it's here. I still get shivers. Quick, quick, the drive home. Between 2000 and 3000 rpm, it's paradise. A full, deep, raspy and wonderful sound. A bit of motorway, constant speed 130 km/h. The Ultima Recital is discreet, I can't hear it. I press the accelerator, nothing but pleasure. Hearing, like all the senses, is subjective. The recent installation of a valved silencer on my 997 3.8 makes me think I have the same tastes as Mr. Scart. What will please some may displease others, with the valves open I would describe the sound as very loud, but of great quality.

A very good compromise for my 2006 997 4S 3.8L Tiptronic cabriolet, the Scart Sport Classic, you don't need more, it purrs just as it should without being racing, it's perfect, a very accomplished product for those looking for a bit of discretion, the difference from the original sound is really there.

It's a pleasure to meet Martin SCART, passionate and professional like they don't make them anymore. These products are fantastic ... Valved silencer on my 997 S, I finally hear the sound of the flat 6 like never before ...

having sold my Boxster 3,2S with a SCART Récital, with which I was entirely satisfied, I set about finding an exhaust which could give a great sound to my new 997S 3,8 from 2006. Despite a natural attraction to the SCART sound, I allowed myself to be tempted by the Dansk silencers which promised the melody for an interesting price... Mistake!! At low revs, the sound is hoarse and seems pleasant... but as the revs increase, it's awful! Absolutely no harmony! the sound remains desperately deep just like a muscle-car or an American V8! at high revs the flat's sound is completely ruined and I found myself regularly reaching for the switch to hear whether or not the revs were in fact rising. in short, disappointed, I decide to dismount the Dansk after only 4 months and order the Scart with valves to replace them... once I receive the Scarts I dismount the Dansk.... two surprises await!! one of the Dansk silencers made of so-called "stainless steel" has a crack! and once I hold the two brands (Scart and Dansk) next to each other, the superior quality of the Scart stainless steel is so obvious!! In short... I tried the Dansk but clearly when compared with the Scart you can see straight away that the Dansk not only have a vastly inferior quality but also a very approximate (or no) development in terms of sound. so for me the choice is made! i won't be making the same mistake again! What a dream, ear-extasy after adding an Ultima to my 997; melodious at low revs, at high revs, an orgasmic recital and not at all tiresome when cruising, the initial cost is soon forgotten as soon as you turn the key.

Hi everyone. Early September fitted a SCART with Valves on a 997S. Sheer pleasure! to be used without moderation! Run-in period concluded on the roads of the Mont Ventoux. Will have to go to the SCART stand at the paradis porsche meeting this weekend to share my great satisfaction.

Having looked into the subject, I decided to fit my 1st generation 997 with a Scart with valves, with 2B Autos in Chambéry (Savoie). Sheer pleasure for the last four months. Valves closed the sound is deeper and lower than the original and yet unobtrusive (my wife copes with it very well indeed!!). However, valves open, it's not the same car, the sound is throaty, powerful but pleasant and passing through tunnels (and not only then...) pure joy. When I shift down "she farts" like a racing car and I'm smiling from ear to ear. To make it short I highly recommend it, and my car is transformed and is so much more pleasurable. For several months I had been discussing it with Sébastien CASTERAN, a PORSCHE garage in Toulouse and loyal to the SCART brand. An appointment was therefore made for mid-April to fit a SCART valved exhaust. I was counting the days... on the day, I left my car in the morning at 9:00 to pick it up in the afternoon. On my return, we quickly headed to my car to hear it sing; the magic had worked. Even with the valves closed the sound is different, more raspy but muted. Hello, unable to go to Goussainville, I undertook the installation of a SCART exhaust on my 997 GT3 (I have a pit). Very easy to fit, less than two hours. Congratulations to the team, in particular to Mr. Beaumont, very available for any information, very "customer attitude", attentive to the customer. My thanks also to the fitter who gave me some valuable advice. For enthusiasts who want to make this swap on a GT3, there is no need to remove the rear bumper skirt, the operation can be done without any problem. I feel like I have changed cars, the sound is fantastic, whether with the valves closed or open. Raspy sound at idle, and lyrical flight in the revs..!!! FABULOUS... A bit of humor.... The little men in blue will hear me coming from afar to get ready to intercept me at 90 km/h... to see the "Beauty" of course, because respect for the rules obliges... And what a product..!!? Hi everyone, as owner of a 997 carrera S cab from 2005 for the last year and a half (having previously had a 348, élise sc, superlight cats) all stainless steel, I wanted to improve the musicality of my air-cooled (heresy) flat six. I rang Scart and Guillaume suggested that I come by to give the underside of my 911 a check-up. Surprise the silencers were made by... "Maranello"!! re heresy! In short, we decided to fit the Scart catalysers with a BMC filter. Christophe, master of works, fits the cats, the filter and the wide diameter stainless steel tailpipes, all really excellent, its a pleasure to work with enthusiasts. At start-up...a little disappointed... at acceleration better, run-in good, the sound is rounder hotter, several extra dbs but not as fierce as I had expected. Return home, 200kms and run-in 100kms ...better and better. arriving home where I share a garage next to my wife's practice, she askes that evening : what's that racket (re heresy)... ok to sum up : if you take U2 in your stride at 2000 revs, ACDC at 6000 revs... listen to SCART!!!!! ..nb we have two lives and the second begins once you visit Scart rgds Damien/Confucius Read more

Hi, Well, I did it! After a lot of hesitation I took the plunge and had a pair of Ultima Recital fitted last week in Aix en Provence (Plan de Campagne). 997 I 4S Fabulous ! The sound is magnificent at full throttle, a deep, gutteral growl, it's just not the same car. Through tunnels and narrow streets, a little bit of acceleration and you'd think you were a rally driver, add to that a little shiver of satisfaction. On the other hand, when you're just at cruising speed you can hardly tell the difference with the original. In short it's a great success. Already during the 1st phone contact with Martin Scart I could see his great professionalism, he asked many precise questions about my car's model, where I live, how I use the car and what I wanted in terms of sound. I had set out with the idea of installing a valved exhaust, thinking that only that model allowed having 2 exhausts in 1, that is, a sound that isn't too present when driving "like a good family man" or on long motorway trips, and on the other hand I wanted it to "spit" loudly when I wanted to have fun. Martin Scart told me the Ultima Récital met my expectations and that there was no need to spend more on valves. So I said deal! and I can tell you I'm not disappointed, it has now been installed for nearly a month and about 2000 km driven with it. The 1st thrill is at start-up: the roar when you turn the key brings a grin and then when the revs settle the sound is not much louder than the original, which avoids bothering everyone when you're at the lights. Just to start my 911 in the garage I've changed my routine: before, I started it with the windows closed since the sound wasn't very thrilling anyway, now I lower the windows or leave my door open before turning the key in my garage, I'm like a kid!!! A few days after the installation, we set off in the 911 with my wife and my 2 children for a weekend on the Bassin d'Arcachon (600 km from our home), we drove at night and I can tell you the whole little family slept well during the trip (except me of course, who was driving), which proves that at a steady speed the sound is under control, not much louder than the original. On the other hand when you really press the gas pedal it's ecstasy! especially when you pass along nearby walls or in a tunnel. Martin Scart's videos are very well made but in real life it's of course 10 times better! So in the end I'm delighted, this exhaust fully meets my expectations: I have a blast from time to time with a sound worthy of the old Le Mans 911 RSRs and I don't risk divorce when we leave for long family trips. Thanks to Martin for transforming my car, I found it too "politically correct" and now I'm rediscovering it and have fallen totally in love. Now they're run-in, my silencers unleash their entire range of growls, a full round sound when accelerating and a "vintage metallic firecracker" when decelerating ! What surprised me, and pleased me, is that apart from the sound, the Ultima Recital creates a real ambiance... it's not just the person in the car behind you that hears it all, you can hear it all too when you lower the windows; and through a tunnel it's really powerful. The Ultima Recital makes the flat 6 purr, or it makes the lion "scream" when you put your foot down. I love it. M. Scart's enthusiasm shows in the way he has developped his products, maybe I'm easily impressed, but just take a look at the video with M JC Bonhomme and his 2.7 RS 1973... what a sound ! Personally it reminds me of when I went on the Val de Vienne circuit in Vigent (86) when luck had it an authentic 2,7 RS was on the piste. Read more
