Thanks again to the whole team of Mr. SCART for fitting a valved silencer on my 2006 Porsche Cayman S. The sound is absolutely extraordinary, it completely changes the car. With the valves closed, the sound is a bit more present than the original, but remains discreet. With the valves open, it's an absolute treat for the ears. Simply magnificent! Thanks again to the whole team of Mr. SCART for fitting a valved silencer on my 2006 Porsche Cayman S. The sound is absolutely extraordinary, it completely changes the car. With the valves closed, the sound is a bit more present than the original, but remains discreet. With the valves open, it's an absolute treat for the ears. Simply magnificent! When you're high in the revs, you feel like you're in a race car. Equipment to recommend urgently!

On the 27th October 2014, I had a SCART "Ultima" sport exhaust fitted on my Boxter 987 3,4S (you can find my comments at the time lower down on this list). Personally, I was thrilled, but my wife found the sound too powerful. So, the exhaust was dismounted in 2015 and replaced by the original exhaust, however I admit this left me somewhat frustrated. In early October 2016, I met Martin Scart on his stand at the Paradis Porsche Meeting in St Tropez. Martin offered to take back the Ultima exhaust and to replace it with an exhaust with valves, for which I would only pay the difference. This was done on the 27th of October at the Goussainville workshop (exactly 2 years after the first SCART exhaust was fitted). Since then, it's a pure joy! My wife is pleased, even though the sound is ever so slightly louder than the original with the valves closed (which is a plus from my point of view). What talent! After much hesitation, I decided to phone SCART directly, where I got straight through to Guillaume. Passionate about their products, he "finalised" my intention to fit an Ultima on my Cayman and pointed me to one of their fitters, VODIFF in Strasbourg. 3 weeks later, the silencer was ordered, made, the appointment booked and fitted! Hats off. At VODIFF it's Eric who handles the installation. On the day he first shows me the "beast" before fitting: superb piece! The exhaust line with its carbon tailpipe is magnificent, the welds are beautiful, I was tempted to put it in my living room (lol). 3h30 later it's fitted. Start-up, a shiver when the sound reached my ears: no video could convey what you hear, what you feel, you have to be next to it to realise: you've understood, I love it!!!! Since then, I've done about 500 km and the sound has mellowed as announced. My Cayman is now a car with two faces: charisma when you don't push it and furious "the way we like it" on track. i found myself in a different car once the exhaust with valves was mounted with a fierce, husky sound at high revs. The mounting went perfectly and was done in a day, my only regret was not having been able to visit the workshop and watch the fitting with my car on the carlift...no regrets about the investment

Last Tuesday 2nd of December the cayman was fitted with 2 sport silencers with valves. Valves closed the result is virtually identical to the original but deeper so you're sure to be discreet, perfect. Once you open the valves......You feel a sort of cavernous growling...and at acceleration its magic!!!!!! almost racing!!!! quite exhilarating!!!!! beautiful piece of work and a fantastic result.... Well done for the product development, the quality workmanship and the professionalism. The tunnel at the Défense will tremble!!!!

As I told you the day I picked up my car with the installation, I'm delighted with the result!

I am just as delighted after several months of use. The silencers are now run in and I feel the sound is even more raspy than on the day it left your workshop.

What I also appreciate in this exhaust is being able to have sound when you want it and also being able to stay discreet when you want. It is one of the characteristics of this exhaust, which I had read in the descriptions and seen in the videos, but before the fitting I still wondered whether it might be too loud for "relaxed" trips. I saw (or rather heard) straight away during the test drive that indeed in "normal" driving, the sound is really almost the original one, and this is confirmed over time.

I also really appreciate having a sporty sound that matches the Porsche sound under hard acceleration, in tunnels (notably the A13 tunnel near the Pont de St Cloud, slightly uphill), it really makes you smile, which you already do anyway when driving this kind of toy!

So far I haven't yet had the chance to cover several hundred kilometres on the motorway with it, that will be for this summer. But on the peri-urban motorways in Île de France the sound level is perfectly fine so I'm not worried about the long trips to come.
