Produced from 1982 to 1991, the 944 evolves from the 924. Transaxle layout, front-mounted inline-4 engine. NA 2.5L (150-163 hp), 2.5L Turbo (220-250 hp, from 1985), 2.7L (165 hp), and S2 3.0L (211 hp, the largest production inline-4 of its time). Cabriolet introduced in 1989 on the S2.

For the 944 Turbo, Scart offers a sport valved exhaust controlled by switch (included) or optional wireless remote. Plug-and-play fitment in place of the original, with no modification, mounting kit and straps included. For a more aggressive tone, Scart recommends removing the catalyst or pre-silencer.
