Fits: all Porsche 911 from 1963 to 1973.

This three-outlet muffler has a dual sound: its design comes from the RSR muffler of the 70s racing era - the ancestor of today's valve exhausts.

  • Road position: both rear outlet plugs in place, left outlet free - a sporty but discreet sound (5/10)
  • Competition position: both rear plugs removed, left outlet plugged - a racing sound

In this 3.0L RSR version, the rear outlets are short and perfectly aligned under the bumpers. The straps are included.

Fitting

  • Strictly original interfaces (inlets, outlets, dimensions): direct replacement, no modification
  • Mounts under the car, directly on the manifolds; fitting is fairly easy
  • Average fitting time: 1 hour including removal of the original exhaust (longer if the bolts are corroded). A lift is not essential but strongly preferable
  • Tighten all nuts progressively
  • Fitting kit included: gaskets, stainless bolts and nuts, high-temperature copper grease

In road position, the two rear outlet caps are installed, leaving the left one free. In this configuration, the sound is sporty but remains discreet (5/10). In competition position, the 2 rear outlet caps are removed and the left outlet is blocked. In this configuration, the racing sound. In this version, 3.0L RSR style, the rear outlets are short and aligned perfectly under the bumpers. Straps are included.

This muffler mounts under the car directly onto the manifolds. Installation is quite easy.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 1 hour. Installation time may be longer if the screws are corroded. The use of a lift is not essential but is highly recommended.

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be mounted in place of the original muffler without any modification.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.

To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
