Standard Catalytic converters 300cc - Porsche 911 (997)

These standard 300cc catalysts fit:

> All 997 phase 1, except GT3 and Turbo

This version is equipped with standard 300cc metal catalysts. They therefore allow the replacement of the original catalysts by slightly improving the gas flow since originally there are 2 x 400 cells on each side.

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, meaning their inlets, outlets, and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be installed in place of the original part without any modification. Catalyst straps are included.

These catalysts are mounted under the car between the manifolds and the rear mufflers. To remove the original catalysts, it is recommended to disconnect the 4 Lambda sensors at the inlets and remove them once the catalysts have been removed. It is also often necessary to cut the sleeves at the catalyst outlet using a grinder. Provide original replacement sleeves.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 2 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if the opposite is the case.

Using a lift is essential. Recovering the original Lambda sensors is not easy; plan to replace them or be able to purchase new ones if necessary.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually across all the nuts.

To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all stainless steel lock nuts and high temperature copper grease and the 2 small straps.
