Pair of intermediate pipes - Porsche Panamera

This pair of intermediate pipes replaces the secondary catalysts. They can be used in conjunction with an ESD or our mufflers with or without valves. In fact, these mufflers alone without intermediate pipes are not significant. They allow the mufflers to deliver their full sound capacity.

These pre-mufflers are fitted to the Panamera.

The lambda sensors that participate in the engine management of this car are located upstream and downstream of the primary catalysts. Replacing these secondary catalysts with tubes therefore has no impact on engine management.

Our exhausts all have the original interfaces, that is to say that their inlets, outlets and dimensions are consistent with the original part. They can therefore be mounted in place of the original parts without any modification.

These intermediate tubes are mounted between the primary catalysts and the muffler. They are located under the front seats.

The average installation time, including removal of the original exhaust, for this exhaust is 0.5 hours. Installation time may be faster if the exhaust to be removed is in good condition, but it may be longer if it is not. We recommend applying penetrating oil to the 3 upstream screws on each side and letting the car cool down thoroughly before disassembly.

The use of a lifting bridge is essential.

Tightening the nuts should always be done gradually over all the nuts. Ensure that the muffler is securely in place before tightening it completely.

To ensure that all our exhausts are fitted in the best possible conditions, we include in the price of this exhaust a fitting kit with gaskets, stainless steel screws, all-stainless steel lock nuts and high-temperature copper grease.
