Produced from 1993 to 1998, the 911 Type 993 is the last air-cooled 911. Under the hood, a naturally aspirated 3.6L flat-6 producing 272 hp on early Carreras, then 285 hp from 1995 thanks to the Varioram intake system. At the top, the twin-turbo 408 hp Turbo, the 450 hp Turbo S and the GT2 up to 450 hp. Available as coupé, cabriolet and Targa (retractable glass roof, from 1995).

For the 993, Scart offers its Sport range and the Super Sound Riva line. The silencer delivers 80% of the sound (the catalyst 20%): 100-cell sport or racing by-pass catalysts available in both factory types (Gillet and Bischoff, identified by their inlet tubes and flanges), with gains of up to +8 hp on naturally aspirated 993. Valved exhaust controlled by switch or remote, French manufacturing.
