Produced from 1991 to 1995, the 968 is the final evolution of the 924 / 944 transaxle lineage. 3.0L inline-4 engine (240 hp) with VarioCam variable valve timing. Coupé and Cabriolet versions. The rare 1993 Turbo S delivers 305 hp (14 factory units). Total production: 12,776 units.

For the 968, Scart offers its Sport range (best-seller: sport catalysed 200cc version), including a by-pass catalyst with silencer that brings a +9 hp gain on stock 968. The stainless steel sport silencer alone delivers 80% of the sound. Valved exhaust available, switch or remote controlled, plug-and-play fitment with no modification.
