ABOUT
The Porsche Boxster (986)
First Boxster generation, produced from 1996 to 2004. A mid-engine roadster, Porsche's first model designed in this layout since the 914. Water-cooled flat-6 2.5L (204 hp) from 1996, then 2.7L (220 hp) from 2000. The Boxster S arrives in 2000 with a 3.2L (252 hp), then 3.4L in 2003 (260 hp).
For the 986, Scart offers its Sport range (silencer + dual outlet, racing or sport version), the switch-controlled valved exhaust and the 200cc sport catalysts that bring up to +10 hp on stock 986. The Boxster silencer is the result of eight years of intensive development, designed to solve the model-specific restrictive exhaust angles and returns.
