Wastegate pipe

This wastegate pipe fits :

The original wastegate was fitted with a catalyser. In principe, a catalyser works on a continuous stream of air. Given that a wastegate does not stay permenantly open, the catalyser will not have much effect. Our version does not have a catalyser which means that when the turbo engages you will hear a playful whistle. This is why it's one of our favourites.

This pipe fits between the turbo's wastegate and the left hand-side tail-pipe. It is fairly easy to fit and on average should take about 30 minutes including the time taken to remove the original exhaust. It will take longer if the bolts are badly corroded.

You will find a car hoist essential for this job as the bolts on the wastegate end are pretty difficult to reach.

Our exhausts all fit onto the original interfaces.  By this we mean their entry, their outlet and their size are the same as those of the original part. They can therefore replace an original muffler without requiring any modification.

Remember that the bolts must always be tightened progressively across the whole set of bolts....

To ensure that our exhausts are fitted under the best conditions, a mounting kit containing: gaskets, stainless steel bolts, stainless steel lock nuts and high temperature copper grease, is included with your exhaust.
