This pre-muffler fits the:

The pre-muffler is the most technical component of the exhaust line for these cars. All five of our pre-mufflers correct the default present in the original part. The original having an inefficient air flow resulting in a loss of power. The more linear air flow of our exhausts will release the power of your engine.
This sport version of the pre-muffler has a 100 cell sport cat which optimises its air flow. Its sound level is 20 to 25% greater than the original. When measured on a power bench there is a 12hp improvement on the original.
On average, the fitting time is 1,5 hour, including the time taken to remove the original exhaust. It will be faster if the exhaust you are removing is in good condition, just as it may take longer if the reverse is true. If the 9 screw-bolts of the entry flange have been badly damaged by rust, you may need to use a grinder. To make life easier when dismantling we recommend that first of all you dismount the rear left wheel and shock absorber.
Use of a car hoist is preferable but not essential.
It is important to respect the makers tightening torque. If the exhaust fitting is insufficiently or overly tightened you could end up with an air leak. Tightening of the bolts must always be done progressively across the whole set of bolts. Make sure that the muffler is correctly positioned beforehand.
To ensure that our exhausts are fitted under the best conditions, a mounting set incuding: gaskets, stainless steel bolts and high temperature copper grease, is included with your exhaust.
