These Racing headers fit :
> All the 911 from 1963 to 1973
> And from 1974 to 1989 so long as they are fitted with a 2 entry muffler.
They can also be fitted on the G type by connecting directly onto the muffler. If you do this, you will need to change the oil tubes.
These Racing headers, are 1mm thick and have unwelded, sleeved tubes. This is the short version designed to be fitted to megaphones or the RSR muffler.
We are currently working on the following, spaghetti headers :
> A short, 38.5mm Racing version - (Reference : SCA 911A 1 RSR-42)
> A short, 42mm Racing version - (Reference : SCA 911A 1 RSR-45)
> A long, 38,5mm Racing version - (Reference : SCA 911A 1 3-38)
> A long, 42mm Racing version - (Reference : SCA 911A 1 3-42)
> A long, 45mm Racing version - (Reference : SCA 911A 1 3-45)
These headers fit between the engine and the mufflers. The only difficulty you may encounter when fitting is if the existing headers are corroded, which is likely if they are the original headers. It's hard to give a clear idea of how long it will take, but should you encounter no difficulties with the existing headers it should take about 3 hours. You will need a car hoist for the job.
Our headers all fit onto the original interfaces. By this we mean their entry, their outlet and their size conform to the original parts. They can therefore be fitted in replacement of the original headers without requiring any modification. Please note: when fitting the short headers to the original mufflers you will need to use the S-shaped connectors. If you don't want to fit the megaphones or RSR mufflers, you need to choose the long headers with their compatible interfaces.
Tightening of the bolts must always be done progressively across the whole set of bolts....
To ensure that our exhausts are fitted under the best conditions a mounting kit including gaskets, bolt tubes, stainless steel bolts, lock nuts, and high temperature copper grease, are included in the price of this exhaust.

Installation this morning ... No traffic ! 8am instead of 9am. Cup of coffee with one of guys. Then Martin Scart arrives : We have several options : it's a 1976 2,7 Targa ... he likes it ! connections : 3.0 or 3.2 ? standard? After 2 seconds thought : We'll go for a made-to-measure ! for MY little porsche ! I spent A half a day of my life in a state of Pure joy : Mr Scart shared all he knew on the subject of Venturi, air fluide exhaust amongst other subjects: I LEARNT ! After a bit of personal work (free Wifi ! ) The result came at half past twelve : We start up the 2.7L Granny. Transformed Granny !!! She's goes from a Porsche growl to a deep growl at low speed (up to 3000 4000) then starts to sing like a Diva (Riva ?) therafter !!!! You should know that no one leaves Goussainville until Mr Scart himself, has taken a little turn in your NEW car ! (Yep ... it's new, reincarnated in a wise and crazy form ! ) It's a huge thrill Mr Martin Scart . Really a huge and marvellous thrill. Any fellow porschist can contact me to verify. Ps: I also have a 1978 3,3 Turbo and everyday I drive a Panamera Diesel .. Porsche... since ... a boy ! And proud of it !
